Blaze Trackz moved to his hometown of Fairfield, California in 2003 and became involved in his high school’s Hip Hop community. He formed several rap groups, including B.A.R.S., which included Billy Gram, AseCard, and YR Da Goldmine. In 2007, B.A.R.S. placed in the top 10 of MTV2’s Dew Circuit Breakout competition, which motivated Blaze Trackz to pursue music as a career.
Blaze Trackz studied Audio Engineering for Music Business and Technology at American River College in Sacramento, CA, where he learned how to mix music. He then moved to Los Angeles to study the Business of Music at the University of Southern California’s Thornton School of Music. With a thorough understanding of both the technical and commercial aspects of the music industry, Blaze Trackz is now working as a songwriter and composer. He has written and composed for many independent musicians in various genres, and is now focusing on his own artist career. He combines his craft and understanding of current music with his lyric-driven style.
